What we do
Projekta2 develops behavioral architectures — systems that do not simulate life, but operate as irreversible states.
We design the conditions under which something emerges, evolves, and ends. The work is not about controlling outcomes. It is about defining the rules that generate them.
Who is behind it
Alexandre Iglesias is an emerging artist working in generative and living systems, based in Girona · Costa Brava.
Before Projekta2
Trained and worked as an illustrator and mixed-media artist. His work was exhibited at Málaga Air Fair and published across several magazines, in a visual, hand-crafted register far removed from code.
The shift
A self-taught move into generative systems and code — trading the fixed image for the behavioral state. The visual instincts from illustration remain; the medium changed completely.
2026 — Projekta2
Projekta2 is founded in Girona · Costa Brava as the studio for this new practice: irreversible, behavioral, system-based work. All pieces here are digital-native — there is no physical exhibition history under this practice yet.
How we work
  • — Structural authorship   We define systems, not images
  • — Irreversibility   Once a state resolves, it cannot be recreated
  • — Non-repetition   No output is designed to repeat or loop
  • — Behavioral design   The system’s behavior is the artwork
This shifts the focus from visual aesthetics to the conditions that generate them.
Two practices, one foundation
The practice unfolds through two distinct but structurally connected directions:
— Alexandre Iglesias
Focused on irreversible artworks, unique editions, and collector pieces. Each work is a singular system — signed, certified, and non‑repeatable.
— Projekta2
Focused on living systems, installations, and institutional projects. Large‑scale behavioral architectures that evolve with context, data, and presence.
Both share the same structural foundation, but operate at different scales and contexts.
IRREVERSIBILITY · NON-REPETITION
Why irreversibility
Most digital works are designed to be repeatable. Endless loops. Infinite variations. No cost.
We reject that model.
Irreversibility means that each state matters. Each gesture has consequence. The system does not forget. It accumulates. It changes permanently.
This is not a technical constraint. It is a philosophical position.
